TIME

Time is flying!  Today my sweet, beautiful,  smiling baby Brittain is 16 weeks.... can you believe it? She has been nothing but amazing. I hold her as much as possible.

My dad use to say "time flys like that the older you get" then he snaps his fingers.  Dad, you are right! Time is just slipping by. My work constantly reminds me that TIME is so precious.  Many patients over the years have reminded me over and over TIME is precious and should be spent with family. As one dying patient put it "nothing is more important then family" So as Thanksgiving approaches think about this 4 letter word how are you spending your TIME?

So far my baby girl and I have:
Gone shopping at Ulta
Thanksgiving shopping
Talked about boys
Laughed together
Cuddled (every night)
Played

So many wonderful things to look towards....

Happy Birthday Blake

Yep today is Blakes birthday! Do you remember ? the drawn out labor that ended up in a emergancy C Section.  I remember waking up from surgery at 5 am realizing I had a baby I got up with my foley (catheter) walked to nursey to pick up my baby. I walked him back to my room and he never left my side after that. He was a colicy baby everyday at 530pm he would cry for a good hour.

 Those of you that know him know hes got the BEST memory. Test him and I bet you will be surprised. This memory has helped him learn in school. He knows site words and reading skills blow me away everyday.

Hes very particular about his toys. They all have to be in order in the place he put them.

His first love baseball.... Do you remember him getting a new baseball and smelling it. Or when he watched old reruns on MLB network of black and white basball games. Hes tried to leave his first love already, but you know what? Lately its been back. Everyday he ask for Tim to take him to backyard to play. He pretends to catch the ball at the fence.



Baby, You have changed my life! You have my heart! Im so Proud of YOU.

Blakes birthday bash!

Thanks to everyone for coming and celebrating Blake. I enjoyed everyone's participation. Thanks to those that helped me.... here are some pictures.  Joe we were surprised by your competiveness!  Mike you were right there too. Its amazing what guys do for beer :)

My chucky monkeys

My chunky monkeys are taking a break from getting ready for this weekends birthday bash for Blake. Brittainnis getting too big it makes me sad yet excited to spend more time with her doing big girl things. Chase is full of life as usual. Playing getting into things but turns around says "sorry mom" then gives me a kiss. Picture of Brittain and I was last Tueaday night after her bath. I would normally be at work but able to spend some quality time with my baby girl instead. God is good.

Party coming up.

Lately Tim and I have been planning Blakes party. The invites are out, games are planned and friends/family are expected to come celebrate Blake. Its amazing!!! he's going to turn 7! Just like that. He amazes me everyday with his memory of something small and very long time ago but Blake will remember.  He loves sports but  his first love baseball, then nascar and lately football.  He has a gentle heart with quick analytical skills that will only grow with his age. I'm truly proud of him. Blake you are very special.... you become friends with anybody. We are so blessed to be your mom and dad. You continue to amaze us. Love you!

To my team for Rockin Roll in Jan

K so I have been having hard time finding time running lately with work and Blakes birthday coming up and Halloween. I hit it will little time available to run and shower before a Blakes practice.

  Many of you have said half a marathon would be more challenging 12 miles! Och. I'm not sure if I can pull this off but will atrempt if the rest of the team is up to it.

We have until Nov 15th to decide until price goes up. $40 for mini $120 for half. ( thanks mom)
